Most blemish products rely on harsh actives — salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, tea tree oil — that strip and dry the skin over time. The skin clears temporarily, then overcompensates, coming back oilier and more vulnerable than before. When these same ingredients are sealed inside a patch, occlusion intensifies their effect even further. It's not a solution. It's a cycle.
